Often when blood transfusion is required the villagers have no idea what blood group they have and over and above sometimes blood donor may be near at hand but since the data is not available donors are not available at the right time.. Rtn Sanjeev Khandekar of Rotary Club of Pune Uptown did a wonderful project of getting the villagers of remote village in Dapoli tested and given Blood Group cards.
