110 Teachers from different schools of Mulshi Taluka were called by the Zilla Parishad ( Government Body) to Panchayat Samiti hall. Faculty members presented in three sessions: The 4M Model : teacher as a Mediator, as a Motivator, as a Mentor and as a role Model. How to motivate and encourage students. How to concentrate and How positive or negative motivation can have effect on the progress of children. It was an interactive workshop where teachers let off their pent up emotions,their day to day problems and discussed important issue.it was indeed an Eye opener for the government that teachers needed support in different aspects. how continuous improvement in attitude as well as in updating skills was need of the hour was brought home. All the teachers were very satisfied and felt that they had well utilized their time in doing the workshop
