Scout Ground in Sadashiv Peth Pune is owned and maintained by SCOUT and made available for the schools who have no ground or no space available to play to children. These schools are using this ground as play ground in specific time slot in a day. For this to maintain the ground , drinking water and water for toilet facility is needed. The corporation water is not sufficient as everyday more than 1500 students came there to play. Scout authorities need to bring water tanker almost everyday. after considering it, we , RCP Uptown decided to dig a bore well to meet the water requirement. our member Rtn. A.V.Shenoy generously donated money and the digging of borewell project was done on 9th May 2018. Now sufficient water flow has been available and the water is purified and saved in a tank and made available for use.
